The strong relationship between waste control management experts J&G Environmental and Trinity Mirror Printing has been confirmed with a renewal of the existing contract between them.

The announcement means J&G will continue their responsibility for collecting all print waste including litho plates and chemicals from Trinity Mirror’s six print centres across the UK.

Mike Wayman from TMP said “we are delighted to continue the relationship with J&G that has been built up over a number of years”.

Minimising environmental impact is an important concern for Trinity Mirror and the renewal of their contract with J&G confirms their commitment to identifying and utilising any opportunity for recycling waste.

J&G General Manager John Haines said the company was delighted with the continued confidence Trinity Mirror had in J&G’s services, adding:

“Properly managed waste disposal is not only better for the environment but makes good commercial sense. We are very pleased to continue our partnership with Trinity Mirror.”

Established for more than 25 years, and a fully accredited waste carrier, J&G manages the waste collection and disposal needs of over 2000 UK print houses and newspaper groups.
